Cinevegas is a film festival that has been running at the Palm Springs resort since 1999. It combined hosting the world Premier of films with showing short films and documentaries. It attracted many big names from the film industry, as it was quite unique. Initially, it inspired the actor Dennis Hopper, who became the chairman of the board until his death in 2010. This resulted in the festival not running for five years, but since 2016 it has returned and is regarded by many as one of the top film festivals that is running anywhere today.

The Helldorado Days is a festival that is organized annually and was first started in 1934. It is a rodeo and is organized by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. The Route 91 Harvest festival is a country music festival that is held on a 15-acre lot on Las Vegas Boulevard. It can hold up to 22,000 spectators and attracts many country and western musicians from around the nation. In 2017 the festival was the scene for the biggest mass shooting by an individual in the United States. One of the city’s more unusual festivals is the Feast of San Gennaro. It originated in Manhattan in 1926 when immigrants from Naples gathered to celebrate Saint Janaurius, the patron saint of Naples. In 1986 the event moved to Las Vegas where it is now celebrated twice a year.

The celebration includes a carnival, music and food. It has become a tradition in Las Vegas that the food has become increasingly Italian and there is a real sense of tradition with the Las Vegas Celebration. It is quite apt that in a party town like Las Vegas there are a number of different festivals that are celebrated throughout the year. The atmosphere of the region goes a long way to make these festivals a success.
